Like has been said previously we habe a good owner and we are going places. If he ends up buying Charlton then fair enough. We will continue to grow and hopefully BMD will come to fruition, however I habe my doubts on that particular scheme.

Trust in Bill and Moshiri.

Thanks. I had seen that article but it is just a rehash of the Bloomberg interview published about six hours earlier that day, as the article states.
The majority of articles on Usmanov are just copies and quotes
By all accounts he gives very few interviews and then only to a select few news outlets
I would say it’s more Financial news outlets than red tops that he and his advisors use to put out into the public realm that which he wants known
I can safely say it’s only what he wants out there that gets put out there
He would not tolerate leaks or gossip from within his inner circle

Perhaps he has lost all his money on change and is now down to his last 100 mill hence buy a cheap club for 20 mill like Charlton.

I think that Usmanov would be far more likely to buy a club like Newcastle than Charlton.... Everton makes even more sense and the reasons and connections have already been spelt out on these pages. However, if we just remove Everton from the discussion completely and you look at who an ambitious multi billionaire who craves control of a prestigious club would invest in then the answer is unlikely to be Charlton.

A first division club with a ground capacity of 27,000 and a loyal but not huge fanbase., currently losing money at an alarming rate.
It can only be imagined how much it would cost to turn Charlton into a Premiership team alone... and how much more to turn it into a top six side.
Included with all the other expense would be a new stadium or a huge modernisation and expansion of the existing stadium. and all of this in London where the cost will be so much greater.
It is hard to understand how anybody would invest in Charlton let alone somebody like Usmanov.
