Abit like you you mean?

So now you've added "Bit like how you deny that he has favourites who he plays regardless of form or out of position-ness. Despite it being proven time and time again."

Is this the latest thing?

It suggests to me that he's trying to find the best system. It'll change.

Of course in the meantime it'll be the likes of you posting the annoying drivel lad.

Haha oh my god that could be the funniest piece of unintentional humour i've ever read on here.

Do me a favour and go check on wikipedia and see how long we have had players playing out of position and playing badly.

Then bash your head against a brick wall repeatedly. But don't worry, it will stop hurting after a while honest.

Probably about the same time Moyes doesn't play his favourite players out of position or at the expense of other better options.

Don't tell me. I'm a "Moyes apologist".

He can't change a game is something that lots of other fans throw at their manager, it's a symptom of the internet frenzied ages of wannabe Champ Manager beauts.

He went for it at half time on Saturday bringing on Yakubu and Coleman, it didnt work as we were still [Poor language removed]. Granted, what the [Poor language removed] Osman was doing on the right of mid I don't know but lay off you bad lemons.

I love your ignorance....Someone who doesnt agree with Moyes must be one of them " frenzied ages of wannabe Champ Manager beauts" who think they know everything about football!?

I'll tell you what i do know, and what you fail to understand...DAVID MOYES DID NOT GO FOR IT SATURDAY BY BRINING ON COLEMAN AND YAKUBU!!!

He replaced 2 players in a system that Newcastle had the measure of after 10 minutes....This is not going for it in my opinion.

I am not a football manager as are any of you i imagine but changing a game and "going for it" for me would be putting Yakubu on at half time to assist Beckford. not to replace him!!!

Just so your clear on my point....David Moyes rarely changes his tactics in a game, he is A plan or nothing manager.

I was at the game, and paid particular attention to Beckford. Leaving him on, wouldn't have done the lad any favours. He wasn't at the races, looked totally out of his depth. Bringing on another keeper would've improved our goal threat.

Even if Moyes had had a plan B, C or D it would've been implemented by the same cohort of sluggish under performing hoof monkeys that were stinking goodison park up that Saturday.

Moyes has never been infallible, I don't think anyone suggests he is. I for one still can't believe we haven't made a transition from route one football to measured distribution from the back four. It's medieval at times.

He remains the best manager for the job. I have every faith he will start to listen to a growing body of criticism related to some of the serious grievances habitually voiced by fans. The endless hoofing, playing players out of position, changing tactics etc. We must remember that some of them have been forced upon us by the financial restraints of the club. Hence his predilection for versatile players that can play numerous positions.

I think after capitulations like Newcastle, fans can radically lose their sense of perspective. Moyes' Everton always wins as a team, united. They tend to lose in the same way. Everyone (perhaps bar Yakubu) was dire at the weekend.

We lost as a team. In the upcoming games we have a chance to right that wrong and win, once more, as a team.

I still love Moyes.

I agree with most of your points with the exception of Moyes remaining the best for the job...I love what Moyes has done at Everton and Love what Moyes has done for the club. However i think he has done all he can, he has reached his ultimate level...he cannot improve!!! its time to move on....He has built a great platform for a new manager to come in and take us on again....This is not just in light of or recent performances, i have thought this for the past 12-18 months

So we sack Moyes, then what? Who do you suggest should be managing Everton?

I am not Moyes biggest fan at the moment, Johnny isnt playing great either but I think he deserves a shout back at Centre Half.

However, If you woke up tomorrow of news that Moyes had walked and was now at "wherever" how would you really feel, who would we get in, weve got no money so who is goign to come.

Dave Jones ?

exactly fletch. Most of us would be beyond gutted. Fans on forums will always say well lets get Mourinho or Hiddink or someone in. Bollocks. Put it this way, if Moyes was at Newcastle say, we'd have zero chance of recruiting him. We have won the lottery having him as a manager. Anyone we recruit will be worse not better. Even Mourinho needs money. Moyes works on fumes.

He's built a team that can beat united and Chelsea on 2-3 million a year. Reread that last sentence.

So who is going to eclipse that? Please someone tell me.

Johnny H so far this season

How on earth are we ever gonna get a manger that can build a team to beat Chelsea and Man U on £2-£3 million a year?

Hang on. We did.

And only one way to find out we could get a manager in who can take Moyes team and get them playing better and more effectively.

I'd say all things considered right now we are better off with Moyes rather than taking that risk of getting someone new in. But if we don't take risks you may not achieve everything what is possible.

Bit like Moyes in game tactics.

I don't understand this post. I posted He's built a that can beat united and chelsea on 2-3 million a year. Why did you then post it with a question mark. Strange.

As for another manager coming in and improving things, I've yet to hear who this mystery man is? Does he have a name?

To be fair mate, Beckford has little to no experience as a lone striker. Bringing Yakubu on and playing a two man strike partnership could've given him a bit more freedom, and given Yakubu ability to pick a pass, someone who can slip him through in the final third.

We are asking a player who plays on the last defender to be a hold up player and play with his back to goal. It's asking alot of a player who's come from League one.
