Usmanov

Usmanov spent years trying to gain control of Arsenal. It began to look as if it might never happen. He remained intent on doing so BUT he was wise enough to have a plan B (cue Moshiri's move to Everton)
Eventually it became clear that Kronke wasn't moving. Usmanov has had to accept the fact that he has finally lost the battle for Arsenal, that will have hurt, but I guarantee that he will be intent on winning the war with Kronke.
I believe that he WILL invest heavily in Everton.
Fast forward to 2022 when Everton beat Arsenal in the Champions league Final.
Camera pans to Usmanov and Moshiri who are sat in the Directors box wearing smug, self satisfied smiles whilst extending their middle fingers in the direction of Kronke.
JOB DONE. ;)
You forgot to mention Blue Bill's head there in a jar a la futurama.

Get them joined up mate ;)

It was flight of fancy pretty much from very early on in Moshiri's tenure. Literally, a pretend "what if ?" scenario.

But month after month, random, seemingly irrelevant comments, and events, just kept the narrative seemingly on track. This is just one line in a Bloomberg interview. But follows his "Impossible" selling of his Arsenal shares, and following that Colin Chung (?) bloke being unveiled as the head of the stadium build. 2 years after we got him in to do just that. Just didnt tell anyone, til now.....

Like I always say, could all be a crock of crap. But them damn dots keep popping up.

Big money people like him don't like to be outdone as he was by Kroenke...i bet he wants to come in at Everton and stop Arsenal and their money stream from getting into Europe, just to wipe that smirk off Kronke's face. I bet thats as much an incentive as getting a return on his investment.
