a man with a clear plan, not even arsed if we had zouma or mina or even holgate starting that game besides keane today we win that game 3 or 4 nil

one moment of madness from jags cost us all 3 points, even with 10 and the free kick equaliser we didnt fold we kept on going for the win, really like the look of marco me

We did pressing quite often in there half and nearly created things from it. I think a bit of patience is required here

We press well in small patches. A lot can be improve for sure. Our pressing in thier half is way better than pressing in our half.

Correct mate.

Need to see a lot more of that. I thought Richarlison did very well besides the two goals in that regard. Hopefully he doesn't start watching the divvies around him and clock off like they do.
What is this praise ha ha I like this new Dave you must be on a promise night go ead mert

Have to say watching that today I don't get where the Martinez MK II shouts come from. Looks a completely different tactical set up to me. Is it because they're both European or something? I'm liking what I am seeing so far and where the hell has this work rate come from with some of these players?

I posted this earlier on.

In Conclusion…..

Marco Silva and Roberto Martinez share some similarities but are fundamentally very different managers with differing philosophies. The Spaniard is all about possession and passing whilst Portuguese manager is all about organisation and attention to detail and exposing the spaces. It’s hard to definitively say whether if he took the Everton managers job he would have the same problems the Spaniard did. They can be both flawed in their approach as can be seen from the number of goals conceded however who knows given time to build his own side and having more than just one preseason under his belt whether Marco Silva can live up to his lofty potential and push Everton towards where they want to be.

Nice one mate, so basically the Martinez MK II shout is rubbish and Silva actually focuses on things Martinez should have but didn't. Personally it was hard to judge properly today with the sending off and being away from home but we looked balanced, not too defensive, not too attacking. Our shape and structure was good I thought, seemed very disciplined. Toward the end I remember watching the whole team move as a unit with the ball when Wolves were moving it around.
