The ONLY way that can ever be a red is if he's deliberately gone in studs-first - he's tried to recover and gotten the ball first and foremost surely??

It's a poor challenge though. It's not as simple as ''he got the ball'' that line of thinking went out the window years ago. It's a yellow card all day for the fact that he caught the Wolves lad on the ankle, how much he got of the ball is sadly irrelevant these days.

Either way you just can't be not controlling a pass that simple. 0-1 up away from home, comfortable and you somehow let a pass run away from you on the edge of your own box. You can call it a lack of concentration or call it what it really is - Jags is about two seasons too long in the league.

The ref on BT reckons it was serious foul play because Jags loses control of the ball and then has to over stretch to try and win it back, therefore not being in control of the tackle.

He does make contact with the lads ankle, and it does look nasty, I reckon though Jags gets a slight touch on the ball.

Appalling logic, really - By that logic, if a defender puts in a controlled tackle, is done by a great bit of skill and commits a foul, it’s no foul.

A lack of control only forms part of the decision if it’s a foul which it wasn’t IMO.

The issue once again is that we're playing exactly as we have done for the past 4 seasons.

Absolutely nothing has change and nothing will change while we have these players. Until Bernard and Gomes are starting with Richy up top and Mina & Zouma at the back it'll be the same trash week in, week out.
Ridiculous. We’re 45 minutes in and we’re cruising until the penalty

Mina and Zouma should have arrived earlier, delay will cost us 3 points most probably. Jags is ancient.

I fluffing hate football.

Not a red card.
Pickford should have stayed where he was, if they score over the wall fair enough but you CANNOT let it in on your side.

Least that provides the opening in defence now. Can't see Jags ever starting in front of anyone else from here on in.

Well if holgate is fit enough to come on why is jags starting. It not as if nobody knows he is finished. Tired of us repeating the same mistakes. Jags is finished. End of. Sell him to championship before we start doing a tim howard on him.

Holgatw has trained about twice in four weeks apparently. Only just made the bench
