I think it's OBVIOUS these players fit into his system. The idea that they recognized what we needed and got it is partially based on the demands of the systems themselves. He wants to build out of the back and attack with his OUTSIDE BACKS (that's for several of you), thus he gets Digne, he wants to be able to pass a bit from the CB position, yet also be tough in the tackle off that back line. We don't need super speedy CBs, but being better in space and having decent anticipation is certainly important.

He wanted more speed and goals form wider areas, he needed someone that could carry the ball a bit in midfield that had some level of physicality, he got that in Gomes.

Brands also CLEARLY values players that can spot a pass. Bernard and Gomes and even Mina can really pass a ball.

Ill give him a few days, I think hes earned it. Moving on the dross on loans will be easy enough. Getting fees for Snides and Bolasie? Not so easy. But I believe...
