Not saying he is coming here but what exactly have they said? A journo has said it and claimed that. No quotes. Nothing contained in the statement and nothing since. They were pretty quick to close it down before.
 

Although initially I thought this was a goer, the noises coming out of the Usmanov camp indicate he won’t be investing in Everton.

I said earlier that if it was gonna happen it would be announced quickly ala Moshiri.

Oh well we go with what we’ve got, a multi billionaire. Albeit a rather strange one lol

It would be very unusual for it to move at the Moshiri speed. That was unusually quick.

There is also a world where he backs us but doesn't officially come on board.

The irony, on a 485 page thread about his next move!!!!! It’s quite funny that we all seem to think he’s coming but as soon as a reporter suggests otherwise, he’s just a RS whose head is falling off. I want him as much as anyone. But its speculation. Some of the stuff on here is embarrassing and cringy. Some of you have really shot the bolt.

What noises? Grunts? Moans? Screams?
 
Difficult to see why Maddock etal would know anything of Usmanov's intentions....... Equally, difficult to see someone with incredibly close connections to Putin wishing to invest billions in the UK directly given the current climate and the way the government are turning the screws.

Common sense says he'll look abroad.

People need to be patient. Just because he's not bought into Everton within 8 hours of selling Arsenal and a couple of unconnected kopites have put a bit of speculation out people are doubtful.

The most significant thing to me today was the Esk saying Moshiri may look to his old friend. From him, as someone who was sceptical it could happen as much as a week ago is a massive shift, and worth far more than Maddock.
