I expect the rumours to pick up tomorrow, however these are likely to be generated from Silvas comments, agents filtering information to journalists for which may or not be true and lastly journalists being breifed our end to mess with another clubs head.

So it looks like our midfield three are currently
Gana, Schneiderlin and Sigurdsson
That represents £77m of signings, all experienced in the league, all at peak age.

Yet it is one of the worst midfields in the league. No passing ability, no dribbling ability, no pace.

I could take any midfield in La Liga and swap it with ours and we'd improve massively.

Dakonam would be quite a coup, better in a back three and would also provide cover at RB for Seamus.

Height raises concerns but he is actually quite decent in the air. Regularly spoken of as a player worthy of a big move. Very aggressive and a real nuisance, exactly the sort we need.

I would rate it as unlikely but if you don’t ask you don’t get.
