Whats your gut instinct telling you boss?

Give us an insight into the inner mind of the Barcelona Brain

In this case, the obvious - he prefers a bigger club than Everton else he'd already be here. I don't believe it is linked to wages but wanting a club with bigger exposure. From the club perspective, they obviously want to maximize the return on their initial investment and if clubs don't meet the valuation, he's likely to be loaned out since he has a contract through '23

We buy 28yo cast offs from united people cry cos it's signing players who cba and are coming fir a retirement payoff, else why would they come here etc etc etc.

We try sign s younger player from a big team and he's hedging his bets cos he's ambituous and maybe prefers a club higher up, then same ones moan we are eating time and he doesn't want to come here anyway etc.

Can't win either way really.

If Mina arrives it's because we where the best offer he had after waiting to see if a better one came in, got no problem at all with that as it shows he's maybe not a complete idiot whose just jumping at the highest wage offer.

Still think he will sign as well, think Barca atm are just bring typical Barca in terms of negotiating fees and clauses etc.

Time is the critical factor here though. We can’t just throw a huge bid in for the likes of Lascelles on deadline day, as they wouldn’t have time to get a replacement in.
If we are going to leave a CB to the wire, we should have brought Jonny Evans in early in the window, to give us some room for error.

It is confusing what the hell is going on and every report has differing things.
One says he'd rather go to a champions league team.
One says we've agreed a fee with Barca but he's waiting on Utd to sort themselves out.
One says that it's the Buy back clause that's the hold up.
One says us and Utd have agreed personal terms but now Barca are holding an auction to get the most for him.
So much BS being spouted about the place that when something factual comes about no one knows what's right and what's BS. I've come to the point where I don't care if he comes or not just as long as we get the positions we need filled and with decent quality personnel.

If he comes, it will need to be £20m at most. Any more than that is a waste & being taken advantage of when time & money could have been spent wisely elsewhere
