Humor, I know, but the best thing about this transfer is that he’s not too bad for Barca, Roma or PSG, teams much ahead of us. According to tranfsermarkt, he played 79 games over 2 seasons(PSG mostly, and a few for Lille) in France, 33 for Roma and 33 for Barca over 2 seasons. Those dont include any cups, just the national leagues. Digne played a lot of football for 3 top, top teams! Playing second fiddle at Barca to Alba is something most footballers can only dream of, and the only reason I can see him wanting to come to us is hunger for more football. Not being included in this years WC probably hit him hard enough to leave a team thats top 3ish in the world.

Im so damn exited about this transfer, exactly the type of player Brands should be getting us. Fairly young with tons of experiance and a chip on his shoulder.

Have anyone seen anything about what kind of contract he’s getting? Probably wont come cheap. According to my quick google search he was on 3million euros in 2013(50k a week?), so Im guessing we’ll have to pay a bunch more than that.

Oh? We lost twice to Burnley last season, lost 4-1 to a side who didn't score a goal for 3 months and conceded 58 goals, including shipping 17 goals to Spurs and Arsenal.
