is that career stats or with Barcelona ?

Just from Barca.

Look mate, I love Baines, I really do, hes been a wonderful, wonderful servant for us, at 1 point for me he was defo 1 of the best LBs in world football, it will be a sad day when he leaves this club, but hes 33 years old, not many are freaks like Maldini, hes not been the same player for about 18months now, maybe even longer if im being harsh.

Is this Dingy fella better? I honestly doubt hes better than peak Baines, but is he better than 33 year old Baines? I guess we find out in the next few months.

I just think baines has the skill set still and more importantly the prem and everton experience.
digne has 29 games in 2 years , he must be a bit rusty , so for me he will be fazed in while baines is fazed out.but im not sure how quick or slow that will be.
I just cant see it being an instant swap.
either way both players have competition, which we dint get with cuco as leftback cover.

No way he’s swapping Barca’s bench for Everton’s. Baines is dead lad, it’s been painful to watch his decline

He will of course have to earn his spot, as you would everybody does.

I'm fairly sure Digne will start in the friendly next weekend and barring a disaster, will be in the XI vs. Wolves. But you're right in the sense that it's a nice thought we have Baines as left-back cover and not Cuco Martina......

not as painful as watching cuco there when baines was injured lol we gave a massive sigh of relief when he came back .

well opinions vary , but we can all agree the leftback position is stronger in depth now.

Have we had a free run at this signing? Haven’t heard of any other clubs linked with him, if true, doesn’t say much for him. Anyone leaving Barca would usually have quite a bit of interest.

here is the question id ask though … out of all the positions , would the leftback and baines have been anyones priorty ?

I would have gone for central defence first myself , and then midfield , but I guess digne just came up at the right time.
