Look at some of the goalkeepers that Madrid have bought mate? They have signed Navas off a world cup. His like of height won't be as much of an issue in Spain either.

Bayern tend to buy long term solutions, Pickford would fit that. I'm not Pickfords biggest fans, but the lad made 1/2 a dozen world class saves, that I'm not sure any goalkeeper in the world makes. He has done himself no harm.

Bayern also like not paying big money for players. Can’t see them matching what we would demand. Real Madrid just seems unlikely.

We’d definitely sell if Chelsea or United came in with £50m+. Moshiri has just continued Kenwright’s sell-to-but policy.

Spanish teams play a lot slower then in the premier league, there will be a lot of free kicks and long rangers at him.
You keep mentioning the world cup but what about his league performances. There were many positives but he also had a few clangers.

You really are dim aren't you? I agreed that 10th without be signings seemed a reasonable estimate as, once again, other clubs will not stand still. I also stated that I don't think we will finish 10th because we will likely make a small number of signings and so we are likely to consolidate that 7th or 8th spot. As I have also said, the predictions of the likes of you and me are meaningless as we are amateurs posting on an Everton forum and have no real insights.

Maybe we don't think he is value for money. Its about getting value for money rather than lobbing shed loads at average players. Not saying Teirney is average but maybe we don't want out hands burnt like with Bolasie, Keane and Klaassen

Other targets maybe? Player may not want to move? Not buying we've fully moved away from it but if there's other options out there its best to explore, look what happened last year with the Sig signing, we spent way too much time focused on that deal without exploring other options. Brands is no mug unlike Walsh

If goalkeepers with no weaknesses go for a premium, how do you explain Alisson being quoted 70 million plus? Stoke in the championship with get 35+ for Butland. We will get 60 for Pickford, well over double what we paid, no chance he goes for 25 with add ons mate.

People look for outstanding ability and character in goalkeepers. He has both of those.

Allison's Brazil's number 1 and has played champions league football.
Stoke won't get 35m for butland, you can't judge pickford off 3 weeks of football.

His distribution has been below average at Everton and for England.
