To me this is no different to the Moyes days of him lining up great players, to spend the whole summer trying to sell someone to afford them for them to move somewhere else.


Missed opportunities is how I look back at the David Moyes era, and I’ll never forgive Bill Kenwright for it.

I agree with him. The squad is too big (esp if you want to bring youth through), and tbh the squad size has reduced before even training with them. It’ll come down more in the next few weeks. I am going to guess our squad size will be around 30 inc 4 or 5 youth grads (DCL, Davies etc) which I’d say is at the top end of acceptable.

Just my opinion though, and I do like to see he other mans perspective (I meant the beautiful bit).

Exactly, first team squad is normally 25 registered players and a few youngsters who can come in if needed, how the hell our squad ever got to having 38 players in it is just crazy.
