Very, very odd article.

Pickford comments all good stuff. But he seems to genuinely be trying make the case that Gareth Southgate should be prime minister

And what's wrong with that? I'm sure that Southgate would be able to console to some extent the poor people of Grenfell Towers,
unlike that bitch who runs our Country.

Just read it and do love Big Nev. Did not expect the anti-Tory stuff. Hopefully Pickford is as unstoppable as Nev is.

I'm going to have to prefer the answer of @TheBlueGibbon here, as this would be the best outcome all round. A good stable defense and screening midfielder all working in unison under Marco Silva and we should be making strides in that area of the field*.

*I'm obviously suffering from too much optimism with England in the semi-finals.

...quite amazing how his stock has risen on the back of a couple of World Cup games, especially after being slated earlier in the tournament. Great for the lad’s profile, great for Everton’s profile but it’s all a little OTT.
