Bentley's an interesting shout. Ironically I think Crouch shot himself in the foot with his hatrick the other night, the cash for Champions league proper is going to see Redknapp go for that top level striker he's been after. Defoe's now having a groin op so it's important for them to get a player before the window closes. Redknapp said he's chairman had spoken to Luis Fabianos club today.

If a selling club can afford to hold for big money close to deadline day then players like Bentley, Keane, Bassong, O'hara and Jenas could be out the door for a lot less than many possibly anticipate.

None of the above would particularly interest me especially if we had to shell out a fee but loans wouldn't be so bad.
