Probably looks brilliant in training against the likes of Keane.

He's been scoring regularly when we struggle to create anything.

We drawing conclusions on a player after 6 months again? He came in and got starved to death in one of the least creative sides in the league.

Do a podcast on him Adam and get me and all the Turks off here in the same room to discuss him. Probably best to beef up security for that show.

Would you consider less than 20 would be deemed a success?

It's just a bit stupid to just slap a number on it and declare a players entire season a success or a failure on that basis.

The number of players who actually score 20 in a season is extremely small, in fact, what some posters on here dont seem to realize is the number of players who score more than 15-16 in a season is very small.

We were spoiled with Lukaku last season, but thats an aberation. If Tosun slightly improves on his current rate, he will be score 15+, which will be fantastic, and will be the least of our problems.

Not even counting Vardy through his age.

We are nowhere near that bracket of player yet you seem upset we have Tosun........strange.

Nothing strange about it mate, i just don't rate him on what i have seen so far.
He doesn't hold the ball up well, and from what i have seen i don't think his workrate is too good either.
I am not trying to be a WUM, I just don't like what i have seen so far.
He has scored a couple of nice goals and he has been starved of any genuine service, but.................good players make a nuisance of themselves and create opportunities where there are none.
I didn't mention Salah, Kane or Aguero either mate, you did.

He will also be massive for us next season. Slots so easily from the tiny amount of chances he gets and is clearly determined to succeed.

Cenk easily slots 15 prem goals minimum in a team that creates chances and taking penalties will help. He scored 5 goals last season from about 8 chances, that's no exaggeration. In a different system to Allardyce OrbitBall he does well.

It’s a bit stupid to demand 20 goals from any striker every season. If the team is winning games and he is playing his part, that is all that matters.

Decent player but we need another forward in a different style, Dembele for me. And he would be gettable because people look at Celtic and don't rate many of their players(repeating what I've said for two summers).

You didnt have to mention them 3 , you implied if a player doesnt score 20 goals he is not a success.
Them 3 would never be Everton players.
Ok you dont like what youve seen , so who would you buy in that price range & what goal return would you expect from them?

15ish is fair if he is the lead striker. You also have to factor in how he influences the game as well.

I’ve said it before- he is good with flicks and knows how to control the ball from the air. He also seems really clinical which is something we need. Is that enough to make up for his lack of agility and mobility? Time will tell.

There's the rub. We don't have a striker problem, we have a bunch of no-hopers who can't supply a striker problem.
