I don't remember too many people complaining when we were known as 'the mersey millionaires', backed by a man who's empire was partly built on the back of encouraging the nation to gamble. Welcome Alisher, bring yer roubles 'ere la.

Moores stole my youth! Children of the Internet age will never understand the lure of pages 275-281 of that Littlewoods catalogue. The semi opaque ones where you could see the shadow of fluff

Oh dear. Your Mam’s catalog :red:

Luckily I wasn’t capable of sticking anything at the age I was looking. I did worry that the thing fell open at that page when my Mam used it

He has no seat on arsenal's board, and no influence over how the club is run.
Who is going to buy his shares?
Who is going to spend over 500million and have no say in how the club is run.
Kronke won't buy them unless he gets them at a cheap price.

I’m willing to take the bet if in the remote chance he sells his Arsenal shares and decided to invest in another football club, it won’t be Everton.

it would be everton, however my worry and reason I see this as a non starter, as others have mentioned, he wont be able to sell his shares

Kroenke wont pay for them, and no one else will buy them knowing it gives them 0 influence

I bought shares in BT back in the day and didn't expect a place on the board. It was an investment.
His shares would be ideal for some pension fund type investment.
