His meeting with Rooney doesn’t look like it’s gone to well lol.

Rooney left the training ground shortly after arriving and is not training with the rest of the squad.

Yeah. I've just been reminded of a post I made immediately after the Southampton and Atalanta games when I admitted we were at risk of relegation. I suppose there is always a risk of some description. But looking back I know that was just an immediate reaction in the immediate aftermath of those 2 games, which were abysmal admittedly. But you also need to look at it in the context of the post I was responding too, which was basically telling me to pull my head out of the sand and accept the situation we were in. My post was basically saying, yeah, we could go down, but we could just as easily go down with Allardyce in charge as without.

Notwithstanding that post, I've always believed that we were never really in a relegation battle and that proved to be the case.
