lets pause and get real. all summer it seems like evertonians have been on mind bending drugs or i've entered a pre-season parallel universe. we have a really good team, but we can't invest heavily in it (THIS IS NOT AN ANTI BILL RANT - just fact!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). we will get better and it is the best team we have on paper for over 15 years, even longer.

forget top 4 the idea is madness we can't compete with the big boys and an anomaly like '05 does not happen all that often, but a top 6 spot is within our capabilities and it would be fantastic.

our season starts on saturday and i'm looking forward to it. COYB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
