I completely get the view that Davies might be a Jack of all trades and master of none. The bottom line for me, though, is that he's played under two ball bag managers. Only under a new manager who has half a clue how to blend a team and find the best roles for all our youngsters can we judge Davies.

I think under a different coach who favours off the ball movement and circulating the ball a lot more he'll demonstrate his value.

He's about to get that chance though - no excuses at all by Christmas.
 


In that scenario not that many in our squad would survive........

I'm absolutely fine with that mate. If we've got 37 professionals, I think you could make a case for selling at least 28 of them before the end of June.
