He was never really that good, was he? He was decent at best, but would never, ever had got into a top five team's starting xi.

A players mentality is all important and in the last two or three season Mirallas had a shocking attitude at Everton, he didn't want to be here and made that clear. It goes all the way back to the penalty incident and even before.
But, attitude and form is not like a tap that you can switch on and off . It would seem that he is now paying the price for his lack of interest and effort at Everton.

Not exactly a high bar.....

Neither Mirallas or Bolasie are good enough for a team with aspirations of top 5, Or ever were.

Let’s hope for a new era of better recruitment.

Again he was an important part of our side that finished.....top 5.

Crap now but he wasn’t when he first came.

Genuinely think it's just down to his legs going. Could imagine him to be a moody git in the dressing room but on the pitch he usually put a shift in. Maybe that wasn't the case in recent times but as I said, I think that's more down to injuries catching up with him.

This. He has lost that pace that would buy him half a yard on any defender. Without that - he is a shadow of the player he was.
