This season will have been a great learning experience for him and some of the other younger lads.

This season Davies often does something well like shielding the ball after winning it, only to ignore the more obvious passes and give the ball away cheaply.

He'd benefit from keeping it simpler more often than not in the centre of the pitch.

He would've scored if Walcott listened to his call.

I counted two passes to a blue shirt.

Spends entire game passing to the opposition.

Because he’s young, scouse, the hair and socks he’s immune to critisiscm.

Should be no where near first team.

Its quite disconcerting to me that 2 of the players getting most abuse are 19year old Davies, who has played better than MS and 20 yr old DCL, who has done pretty well for a 20yr old in the Premier Leaguie. We are asking these kids to pick up the slack of their senior pros and people are absolutely slating them as useless, sorry but that's out of order.

It's not their fault that they've been over utilised, we spent over £200m and yet are reliant on teenagers and that same cliche that they don't pick themselves. Davies gets games because his energy serves us better in the middle, now I don't know if klaassen comes to train in a plaster cast but other than him its Schneiderlin so who do you play? DCL isn't a winger and is learning his role, he has 8 goals and 4 assists so for a 20yr old what more do you want?
