I have been supporting Everton for decades... things have been much much worse than this.
Things are not good but there is so much happening in and around the club that gives hope for the future.
A new manager, three or four good signings and optimism would be back like swallows in summer.

Dave, please stop re-writing history.

Moyes spent 13m NET over his 11 years at the club.
We also went 2 years without signing a first team player.

By all means call him a bottler, by all means call him negative, but please, try and stick to FACTS regarding the money he had to spend.

Facts don’t suit the agenda.
Bobby got lucky taking over a decent team with a solid defence
He got lucky Lukaku settled straight away although his record at WBA proved he could score goals at PL level.
Barry and MvCarthy gelled before McCarthy became glass and Barkley started to come into his own

Hahahhaha, now your just plain old making stuff up on the fly.

Good day to you Sir.
It's VERY easy to check. Moyes had the Rooney cash and had a hefty net spend. From the 2009/10 season maters dramatically changed and the club became negative net spenders.

That's simply what happened.

By hook or by crook he ended up here and the club made an absolute killing on his eventual sale AND got heaps of goals from him.

Best value for money signing of the last 30 years.
It was the best signing of the last 30 years but it was an unintentional one.
Even after his season on loan Lukaku was waiting for a bigger club to come in for him before he signed permanently for us

I mean, if you went in for a striker that ended up in China and came out with a striker that would ultimately cost a club 90 million, I don't think you'd admit to it.
It was hearsay started by the Mail and Mirror from what I can gather.

Seamus Coleman surely?
Three factors to take into account on this:

1/ Cost of purchase to Everton
2/ Impact of player at Everton
3/ Fee commanded by Everton

I'd say Coleman was a fantastic bargain, but I dont think his impact on our play was anything nearly as dramatic as a striker scoring a large amount of goals, and there's no way Coleman would fetch a quarter of the fee we got for Lukaku.

Coleman would have brought us a hefty fee if he had of pushed for a move to Manure but he stayed loyal

No, but he would fetch more than 3 times we paid for him.

Pointless anyrate, anyone saying Rom wasnt a great deal, in and out, is talking soap.
