If he scored the header in the last minute, everybody would be praising him right now and call him a hero. Some people already eager to sell him for half the price he was bought for? Remember, Chelsea sold Salah. These things take time. It would be weird if he adapted this fast straight from Turkish League to Premier League. It will definitely take time but he'll show his quality in the near future.

He was indeed isolated. I actually think if Rooney was off instead of Niasse at that minute, we (one of Cenk or Niasse) easily could have scored today. It was a coward-ish decision to rotate a stiker only. You just knew that it wasnt going to work. Bolasie also came in too late.

Well yeah, if he did what he was paid £120k a week to do we’d be happy, but he headed the ball as if he was a human sponge so we’re not. Seems pretty logical to me.

There's no definitely about it. We seem to say it'll take time about every single one of our signings to gloss over the fact they're not playing very well. £27m on a striker not ready for the league. Sums us up.

True but it's hard to judge players properly when we are serving up this mess every other week. The Premiership is arguably one of the hardest leagues to adapt to in top football just because of how fast and physical it is and how the game can pass you by in a flash. This season has just been a disaster from every angle, joker in charge, worst possible environment to introduce new players to the non existent system and probably worst of all no consistent philosophy running through the club which has put us in this load of random player situation.

He's used to playing football, not the utter mess that is bottom 14 Prem standard football. Our League is now as poor as i have ever known, the Premier league has killed football.
