Pathetic the way this lad has been handled.

Yet s!?t houses like schneiderlin get a game.

He's not even worthy of a runout in the u23. Where Davy can't get a game.

Its scandalous the lack of effort been put in to integrate him by fat sam.

What also winds me up is this he can't handle the physicality/pace of the Premier league cobblers.

It's such a kop out. Like footy is still stuck in the 70s. When clearly the technicality is higher and the physicality significantly lower.

Didn't Sam saying he's not putting in the effort in training?

I don’t rate Klaassen so I’m fine if he’s shipped out but Sams word choice is so frustrating. You don’t turn to talented players when you need to win games? Wtf?

You do realise that's a made up article with made up words - have a look at the articles next to it:

"John Stones may actually be a bit sh1t - Pep"
"Sanchez keeps turning up at Man City's training ground"

Bit of a hint...

I think that cop out is just British modesty. Nobody likes to say it, as it looks like you've swallowed the Sky hype or you're some jingoistic flag waving Brexiteer, but when people say that they just mean this league is the best (and overall it is. easily.) and he's not quite good enough.

Also picking out a quality like 'physicality' sort of implies you've homed in a specific flaw when the reality is he just doesn't have the ability. Still think it might be a confidences issue. Either way he'd be a stand out star in the lower leagues and would be one of the better players in Italy, Germany and Spain imo.

Mate???

Sam saying that isn't THAT far fetched though.

Is there any chance that the manager and the coaching staff know what they are doing with Klassen and we, including myself, haven't a clue as to whether Klassen is a. trying. b. fit. c. good enough? I imagine if Klassen passed the test of any 2 of those 3, he would be at least on the bench.

I think he'll end up back there in summer. Ajax fans seem dying to want him back.

It's not impossible that it happens, we have one aging midfielder and another one that is likely to move on in the summer. Plus we have Siem de Jong, who barely makes any minutes for months and might be looking for another possibility. That, plus the fact that we have warehouses full of money but (most likely) no prizes makes it possible the board wants to bring in a guy that surely delivers.

Would I be "dying" to see him back? Not exactly, I think his style of playing is far too passive for an offensive midfielder of Ajax and his technical limitations are frustrating. If he would come in to play as the holding midfielder, I wouldn't mind too much but afaiac the club should spend money on younger and more talented players.

The BFS seems to have seems to have stumbled across a role for Davies which I think Klassen could do well at if Tom got injured or needed a breather. Heard it called a forward midfielder to break up play and create momentum... whatever it is called I think Davy has the attributes....

I feel like that's an easy out. We DON'T know anything about how they are in training. But we know enough that matches matter more than jogging around the training ground and, yet, every combination of player has been tried and all are awful. And, yet again, players who completely stink out the place whilst in a competitve match are played week in and week out with no consequence.

DEFFO not saying "he's the answer", just that how could he be any worse than what we have?
