Once again questions need to be asked of our recruitment. We have waited all season for a striker, we get one in who has scored goals aplenty in the league and champions league, but not ready for premier league football? We are talking about a seasoned international who we have just spent 27m on not some promising youngster. I hope I’m wrong, but Klassen seemed to be found out early that he wasn’t cut out for the premier league, will Tosun be the same?

Nope, when you pay 27 million to a striker, he should be able to pass the ball to himself near the penalty area below neck height.

He’s scored a few goals but we need far far better. I wouldn’t say he’s playing ‘very well’.
