Watching his interview with Lineker on MOTD he showed more faces than the town hall clock. His whole demeanour is one of defiance especially when mentioning criticism coming his way, "including some from here" he said with a satisfied smirk on his gob.
The one thing making me baulk was when he used the word "we" when mentioning plans for next season. Dream on Sam, do one as soon we're safe, comforted with the remaining 12 months or so of your contract.

I'm not talking about tika-taka, but if you're going to chuck several hundred million pounds at transfers and planning a plush new stadium, you don't want a hoof-ball relegation specialist in charge for several years.
With the benefit of hindsight, it's easy to slate Koeman, but at the time of his appointment the intention was that he would get us playing direct, fast football, similar to what he'd had S'ton playing (but with more clout in transfer spend).
His dogged determination to sign Marco Silva (again - flawed, with the benefit of hindsight) demonstrated that he wanted a manager who gives a certain brand of football.
Also, if you remember, he only ever wanted to give Big Sam a temporary contract until the end of the year to save us from a relegation scrap - the 18 month "compromise" was out of the desperation more than anything else.
I fully expect Moshiri will be keeping an eye out for someone who will be more intact with how he sees the brand developing.
