Would prob end up 4-3 mate id wait till we have a hefty 6 goal
lead before bringing him on.

It's entirely possible he's just turbo gash and we've got another Steve Walsh special on our hands.

Having said that, super Oumar Niasse started in similar vein. Whilst I think we can all agree Oumar is not top quality, he's eventually doing a job after taking some time to bed in. Hopefully Tosun does the same (minus the Koeman style tough love, freezing out and locker denial).

He really fits a pattern though - how many Walsh era signings have looked first team staple material immediatley?

Lookman, Vlasic, Keane, Sandro, Klassen and now Tosun - not one of the three managers have entirely trusted them. Fine if you're looking long term, but unfortunately we need players to hit the ground running given the gaps in our squad.

If we brought in Suarez or Messi, big sam would give them 50 minutes then bench them for the season to 'give them time' . I'm joking but sad thing is there is a chance he literally would.
