2017/18 Oumar Niasse

I have to admit he terrorized Leicester last night. I couldn't believe how we played in their half most of the game and close players down because we have options. Niasse gets chances and I just don't see that with DCL at the moment. Sad he didn't convert but maybe he is saving it for the Gunners.

Last night summed oumar up for me,could and probably should have had a hattrick, but was fundamental in our victory and how we went about things,a total bloody nuisance/pest to leicester, the crowd love him as he has battled through all what has gone on before, maybe in the grand scheme of things he won't have what it takes to cement a regular spot in the team but Jesus, hes earned his place in the squad:)

I just think he's better suited for us as a guy off the bench at the 65 minute mark.

Aside from the misses, he did have a good game Wednesday. His never say die attitude is one of his best qualities, and I think it's a contributing factor to why he's been a super sub.

Longer term, I'd prefer someone like Cenk up top to start with Niasse coming on late
They're starting niasse to try and make the other two hungrier and they'll do it to him sometimes too

When's he getting a new contract then? it seems like he's winning a lot of us over. He's definitly good enough for back up and at the moment i think he's doing enough to be a starter.

Jesus guys (the ones still slating him), what do you want from him? One of our few bright sparks from this season.

One of our only players who when the chips have been down, has been passionate and carried on working hard. He has scored goals and won us plenty of points. Yeah he has missed a few chances and isn’t the total footballer we all want at the club but he has done a damn sight more than other regular starters.

It’s ludicrous people are still on his back and saying he is the worst footballer they have ever watched etc. He is on course to be on double figures in the league off very limited minutes this season, I’d say he knows how to play football well enough.

I didn't compare him as I plainly pointed out that he is not Messi as he doesn't have the other attributes that make Messi Messi and Trundle Trundle.

I literally did the EXACT opposite of what you claim I did and then amusingly enough you have quoted me and still not understood it!

Watch other players on the field while he plays.. they have to constantly tell him what to do and a lot are often shaking their heads with his positioning and runs. Love the lad and love his attitude but my gosh he is not a footballer.

Who the hell are our players to tell anybody to do anything?

They are probably shaking their head because he is running about making space for a pass which they do not do themselves.

We play better and look much more threatening with him in the team.

Says it all

Edited to have a pop. Allardyce actually said he doesn’t normally miss chances even in training. He’s finished well all season before last night. How come in a season of talented players not even trying its the likes of Niasse and Martins who at least are giving everything that have taken the brunt of the criticism?

Fair enough if that’s the case.

Got to laugh at the notion of Niasse taking the brunt of the criticism, you’ve got to be joking haven’t you. He gets a free pass from 90% of Evertonians as this thread shows.

If "talent" was the only thing that mattered Lee Trundle would have been as good as Messi

If you can’t see that you’ve just implied their “talent” was at similar level then I give up.

P.s. I could compare myself to Messi if I wanted, it wouldn’t be inaccurate, compare does not always mean similar. Get a better grasp of the English language before you start pulling people up. Amusing indeed
