6 I think

Walcott for Lennon is a big upgrade
We signed a striker to hopefully rectify the issue we've had all season
We do lack pace and balance in the middle of our defence, so a loan punt on Mangala is a reasonable shout
Besic going out is a good thing - no future here
Mirallas going out is a great thing - the snakey, horrible blert
Sandro going out on loan is debatable but better he gets minutes somewhere rather than sitting in the stands here
Barkley leaving was disappointing but it's difficult to blame the club for that one
Lookman going out on loan was disappointing and encouraging in equal measure - I think he should be getting more minutes here than he has done, but Leipzig is a good level and if he gets minutes over there it's a good thing
Not signing a left back, despite it being a huge, huge issue is a major black mark. This should be the straw that broke the camel's back as far as Walsh's job is concerned

two highlights of the window were Theo in and Seamus back.

lot of outward bound players, disappointed to see Lookman on the list, hopefully he gets actual playtime.

hopefully Mangala and Cenk pan out. Cenk (or whomever is playing at striker) will likely benefit from Theo and Seamus, hopefully providing more attacking support than the recent horrible, inept, zero shots on target days.

I have better judgement than Allardyce, tbf.

...but you know what I mean. If the manager has a team strategy (like he should have) then he needs to understand the type of players who not only fit it, but also compliment each other. It’s for that reason I rarely nominate a player or comment on one that is incoming.

I like what Allardyce said about Mangala providing much needed pace and power because that is missing in the squad.

He talked last night post match about the spectacle of a new right sided partnership being forged between Walcott and Coleman...but decided to leave the left flank completely unbalanced and weak.

I cant take him seriously.

Gone for 6 as Walcott looks good and Tosun is a goalscorer. However, the fact we've just neglected to sort out the left back is yet again ridiculous just like neglecting the striker situation was in the summer.

don't worry lad 99% of people who watch football don't

except the odd few in here and his best mate steve walsh

I gave it six.
We brought in a striker, added pace and goals in Walcott. We added strength and height to the centre of defence.

We did not add the dominant midfielder or the left back we need but then in the summer we simply bought too many players , couldn't fit them all in and that worked against some of them I think. Maybe it is as well to let fewer numbers settle in.

In total we moved out eleven and brought in three so Finch Farm will have fewer disgruntled faces this week.... although I don't think GOT shifted any.

..i’m not defending him, Dave, but perhaps he’s not happy with that left side and has plans for a total rebuild. Sigurdsson is not conventional out there, so buying players in isolation is a recipe for having an unbalanced team. He said his preferred LB option was unavailable, I take him at his word because that’s what i’m like.

Gave it a 5 because left back. Walcott is looking a steal, Jury's still out on Cenk, and probably will be for a few months, Mangala is underwhelming but very low risk. No left back is a joke.

Everyone is obviously cautiously optimistic about all our incoming transfers. Walcott surely looks to be a rejuvenated player in royal blue. Tosun needs more time and obviously Leicester wasn't a great test of Martina but he certainly looked much better than he had in any other performances. The lack of an incoming LB is scary but if Martina continues to put in a shift we'll be ok.

No bleeding left back which is inexcusable.

We sold the best Everton academy graduate since Rooney.

Took a gamble on a striker who has already been dropped.

Walcott looks alright and probably the one signing who will actually improve us.

Signed a center back on loan that City wanted rid of because he's awfully dodgy in this league.
