Newcastle at home 2008 though I did see a terrible friendly in Bangkok against Leicester. I wanted to do Tanzania last year too last trying to buy a ticket was overly complicated.Love I'm darwin mate so same for me. Last game I went to was Wolfsburg at goodison.
Odd situation that in the occasional games that cushions rained down (when the players had left the pitch) that the cushions in general came from.the slightly more affluent Goodison Main Stand rather than the more rabid support of the Gwladys St.But the booing of individual players while the game was in play just didn't happen.Spot on - or are you? The 'support' in the 1966 era was more inclined to attack the manager physically (allegedly) & to rain cushions onto the pitch and towards the Directors box. Best booing ever was the home defeat to Leeds Utd in 1964. Mind you, the players put in a battling display to say the least, the booing was for the ref, Stokes, and anything connected with Leeds! As for the Cup Final, we had a good team, playing ok and a blatant penalty denied. 'Support' solidly behind the team because we knew they were good enough to fight back and did, a bit like the Bayern match! The Wimbledon match could have turned very ugly, but we know what happened. A pertinent point is the current 'silence', more than the booing. Goodison can quickly transform to very hostile & noisy if the players put a proper shift in, and that is solely down to the tactical preparation and tempo the team adopts, which has been set at 'snooze' all season.
I can’t believe so many people are justifying it.
How do people not realise that it’s a detriment? We’re bad and our players hate playing in front of us , players like John Stones jumped at the chance to leave, he even had to tell the crowd to shut up once.
If our team + manager played in front of a different crowd every week we would be performing better.
How you can expect half of them players to turn up at Goodison and perform well is beyond me, one misplaced pass and be famous Goodison groan comes out. Do something wrong and there is hysteria in the crowd.
You could see it in Koeman’s body language that he wasn’t arsed at the end. There’s no will to fight for this crowd. They all get paid the same as it is

Oh dear, the players are actually PAID to do a professional job and turn up at Goodison...and well paid at that....when you have run out of everyone else to blame ie moshiri, billy liar, suntan Bob, Walsh, fat Sam etc let's all blame the fans, not the couldn't care less mercenaries this club has been saddled with....I can’t believe so many people are justifying it.

Not at every mistake mate, or every backwards pass, sometimes in football you need to go back.. i think the groans/booing got into kennys mind as one point he deffo should of knocked it back to Pickford but he tried to flick it forwards, it bounced off wba player to Rondon who shot and nearly scored!
Its going abit far now, and if we genuinely are in a relegation battle come 5-10 games to go then we as fans need to help them out. Which I don't think the majority of fans would do they'd instead moan boo groan and make things worse.
John Stones left after suffering years of abuse at the hands of our supporters.
Kenny will be next.
No.
One???

It is these days , first misplaced pass of the game and people start shrieking.
Obviously not everybody is going to agree but if someone wants to let me know what beneficial effect it has on our players or performance then let me know
“I pay my money and I’ll go and boo if I want” is a terrible shout. Most people would rather you didn’t pay your money and stayed home and booed your TV
