Again goes back to what I was saying earlier. What is talent? What is ability footballing wise? His control can be ropy, his close control can be good though and can get him out of tight spaces, his passing again can be sloppy but he has also shown he can play some good balls (like the assist for Gueye or the build up to his first against Bournemouth). He is also a good finisher and he can hit the ball with power. Like any player he has his strengths and weaknesses, but because he is not what we traditionally see as talented he is deemed atrocious yet he can be very effective and has shown that. I'm only really bothered about the end result when it comes to football. If he is scoring and laying on assists then he is alright with me.

God damn thought for a moment you were describing Lukaku!

I think - assuming we actually buy the striker we needed in the summer he will go and he's done enough this ahlf of the season to drum up interest. He's scored a few goals, works hard and shown great character. Hopefully that will be enough to get him a move.

Keep him unless we can get another striker in January. We don't know how tosun (if we get him) will do so Naisse is the next best we have.

Yeah, I think it would be foolish to let our top scoring striker leave without yet seeing how the new striker handles things.

Agreed. I'd only let him leave if we signed two new forwards, Jenk and maybe another on loan. If we end the window with Jenk and DCL we may be no better off than we are now.

We'll have to keep him as all of the experts on here have already told us the new fella (if he signs) is CRAP anyway. We're an extremely lucky club to have so many footballing experts, don't you agree?

I don't believe there are many on here who have any clue how good Jenk is/will be. I certainly have no idea! He might be brilliant (fingers crossed) or he might be Sandro! Either way we need at least three proper centre forwards, IMO at least.

Not seen anything of tosun, hopefully he does well and is good. And if we do sign him, it would be foolish to let Niasse leave. Would leave us with two strikers again. Imagine if one, or both got injured. Niasse is unconventional but doesn’t half bring some excitement and scores goals. He lifts the crowd when it gets dull. I wouldn’t let him leave till at least summer when we sign another striker as you realistically need 3 at least.

(I haven’t included Sandro as I think he is going to leave and he has been worse than useless imo)

I agree that we really need two strikers rather than one. I would like to see us sign Bathsuayi as well and with their apparent interest in Barkley it may be possible to put together a deal that suits both clubs.

I think Barkley may make 10m-15m, Niasse could get around 10m, Mirallas 2m, Sandro 6m , Schneiderlin about 20m and we also just might see Besic and Davy Klaasen leave as well later in the window as clubs start to run out of time and points.

I think we can cover over most other areas but up front is a disaster.
