If Allardyce didn't trust him he shouldn't be playing him. It's not like he didn' it have other midfield options as he could use Davies, Beni, Besic to make 3 others plus Klassen could easily do the same role as what McCarthy done which was jog around and give the ball away and that's not including Rooney can play in a midfield 3. He simply just wanted to put as many crap/crab players in their to try and stifle the mighty Bournemouth which left us with little/no creativity.

I just can't see what Morgan does, he certainly isn't a defensive midfielder becsuse he's more than happy to let players run beyond him, very rarely puts a tackle in, doesn't track anyone. He doesn't drive forward with the ball, he doesn't demand the ball, he doesn't shoot, he doesn't assist....he literally gets the ball ( when he's not hiding from it ) and passes it square 5-10 yards.
Exactly mate. IIRC Allardyce's first words after the WHU game he gegged in on that everyone can now see that Rooney has to be played further back.

Play Rooney plus Baningime or Gueye in the CM slots and lets have a go.

It's still square pegs in round holes isn't it mate. We've got a 45m player in Gylfi who we basically play left back to cover the crapness of Martina. He doesn't get involved anywhere near enough so stick him up top behind a striker and tell him to start making a nuisance of himself up there. Then you'v got the 3rd manager on the spin who seems to think Morgan and Gueye as a pair will work when it's been months since the pair of them have actually done more than sod all as a partnership together.

The pieces are there to arrange in an effective way if there's a will to play more expansively. No question about that. Yes a new striuker is required, but we can surely do better than a handful of shots on target in the last 3 games.

Niasse and Rooney are the top scorers. Just play them. Rooney was ready yesterday from the off and he leaves him and Niasse on the bench.

It is like he sees himself as the cherry on top of the cake. He flirts about on the edge of things and doesn't seem to see his role as helping out. It might work in a team who are at the top of their game and are firing on all cylinders; unfortunately this isn't us at the moment, we need all players on the pitch to roll their sleeves up and dig in.
He isn't what we need, unfortunately we have a number of players who aren't what we need just now and what we need we don't have.

Whilst Kenny was culpable for not tracking Fraser for Bournemouths 1st goal, Scheneiderlin is equally to blame
Just jogs back and doesn't check over his shoulder where the danger is (in the middle). Totally ball watching!

I thought the first Bournemouth goal was down to Jagielka as much as anyone else. He's over there in line with the cross and he draws up and allows the cross to go by him. He easily had the time to get there and intercept by getting a head on it, but chose to let it pass him by and on into the goalmouth.

He's utterly useless.
