"Everton may have to pay close to £30m to land Cenk Tosun.
The Blues have been locked in negotiations with Besiktas this weekend over the transfer of the 26-year-old.Everton’s director of football Steve Walsh flew to Istanbul on Friday to try and tie up the deal for Tosun amid fears it could be hijacked by rival clubs.
Italian giants Roma were among the sides showing an interest in the Turkey international.
The Blues remain hopeful they can secure Tosun’s services but may now have to pay more than the £25m deal that was on the table earlier in the week after other clubs firmed up their interest.
Tosun appeared to be saying farewell to the Besiktas supporters on Friday night after scoring in their game with Osmanlispor FK in the Turkish Cup."

I expect it to be done Tuesday or Wednesdsy but we'll have to pay well for what is a huge gamble given how weak that league is. I watched Cenk the other night and he took his goal superbly, with power and precision. The type of finish that seems beyond DCL now.
His overall performance though was very poor. The ball bounced off him again and again. He was slow and couldn't dribble well. Didn't even show any strength for a big lad. He was being played on the wing though so hopefully that was just a poor performance and he's more than just a very good finisher.
