They became the players they are today in Germany via German way of training/youth development. If they were schooled in Turkey they would be lucky to be 10% of what they are today seriously. Nationality tells very little part of the story.

That applies to Tosun too then, he was born in Germany, was at Franfurkts youth team and played for Germany U21's before switching to Turkey. So he's been schooled the German way too.

Exactly, he was 20 years old or so when he came to Turkey. So you may expect great work ethic if nothing else (unlike the rest of us fellow Turks...)

Before stating my opinion, I'm a lifelong Beşiktaş fan (and Everton fan since 2009).

Cenk is not a bad player by any means but claiming his skills are no less than Lacazette is a bit exaggeration in my opinion. I wouldn't compare the two.

Cenk is slower and his finishing rate is not very high. He will need to be very well fed to score goals.
