I’ve never heard of him, but I hope he can get us a few goals and we see the end of Niasse.

Don’t know much about him but from YouTube he’s definitely a better finisher than DCL. Also we should be going for another striker one

Harry Kane isn't exactly rapid nor Giroud or Benteke so write him off before he has even kicked a ball for us yer miserable get.
True. Nevertheless, there are other numerous players in their squad who offer pace, whereas we're a club currently stricken with a lack of pace.

I don't take the original post as criticising the player himself, for I sincerely hope he succeeds, but rather the fact it's not changing the status quo.

People are complaining that our football is slow, laborious and one-dimensional and will this signing change this? I think that's the original point.

Hopefully there'll be further additions who may offer the pace and creativity we lack, however knowing Everton it may not be the case.

Hello Toffees,
This is a Beşiktaş supporter from Turkey.
I can see a lot of discussions going over Cenk and his talent, skills and whether he is going to be helpful for Everton.
Let me help you know about our beloved striker Cenk Tosun.

First of all he took his football fundamentals in Germany. I think this is one of the advantages of him.
Before Beşiktaş, he was playing for a mid-level Turkish Super league team and there, he scored classy goals and we were all thinking he was a good player to sign. Finally, Cenk joined our squad on a free transfer 3 years ago.
He waited as a substitute in Slaven Bilic’s team but scored critical goals (a good one against Tottenham in Europa Leage). He substituted Mario Gomez the previous year and he also scored very critical goals as a substitute after Gomez.
He was not a problematic player, he never gave-up even he waited as a substitute. He almost scored in every match he substituted Gomez, his mindset was always ready for the game.

Last season he played with Aboubakar and he was fascinating, scored 20 league goals and contributed a lot for Beşiktaş winning the championship title in super league. This year; he is excellent in Champions League he scored great goals.

Now, about his skills;
Although he is not very agile and paceful, he is a good runner with the ball. He is very strong, he challenges the defense both from the air and ground.
He keeps the ball well and can serve under pressure.
He very much improved his shooting skills, he has unexpected very powerful shots out of the box. Speaking in terms of FM language, his finishing is above 15.
He is not a very good jumper but a good header. I didn't remember any missed clear heading chances from him.
He works and plays for the team. He rarely acts selfish but that's how a striker lives, I cannot blame him though.
His off the ball mentality is improving , will be better.

Some weaknesses; he has to be more in the game. If you are playing in Premier League you have to be more on the field and in passing opportunities.
He will need more acceleration in PL, he has to improve.

If Everton signs with him, you will get a good striker. All of above points, he has a very good character, he is a real hard worker for his team.

I hope this information helps.
