Okay that's the breaking point

This panic-stricken, head-falling-off thread was started by a poster whose solution to our early season crisis was to appoint either Martin O'Neill or bring Martinez back in on a short term deal. He was anti-Allardyce from day 0.

Now we've gone 7 games unbeaten and climbed into the top half from the relegation zone, he wants Allardyce sacked.

I'm not saying his opinion is invalid....but he definitely holds an invalid opinion.

Ahaha mushes at least you didn’t get beat two zip at home to a rotated Norwich side! For the record I laughed heartily as about 20 of Norwich’s top boys got a ran off by about 5/6 zulus!

Did you manage a shot on goal this time out though.
Was this one of the Norwich runners?

He's doing a job. Steadying the ship. The season was long destroyed before he arrived and he's performing miracles considering Koeman couldn't get anything out of these lot.

It's clear as day we're missing a striker a creative midfielder and a left back. He's setting up not to get beat - wise considering we don't have an attacking outlet.

Not his biggest fan but I praise the man for getting us out of a mess. I can sleep at night.

Next season. It's all about next season.

Enjoy not getting hammered 4-0 and 4-1 myself, not a great draw but when you look at it, we know our issue is the final third. Having said that I don't see why Lookman and Vlasic aren't getting a look in, they'd definitely add some excitement at least

Splitting hairs. Dull football is dull football.
We are playing like a small club against other small clubs.

Before we were one or two signings of being a really good team. Now we need a new squad if we seriously want to challenge the top 6.

People are wrong to be up in arms now but if we are still playing like this by the end of the season I wouldn't want to hand Big Sam any money in the summer either.

I'm not sure what people see in either. They are pretty anonymous every time they've played.

I would have Lennon, Sigurdsson, Bolasie and Rooney over them all day every day.

Don't rate Lennon at all, think he's just at a point where he can fill a spot now, doesn't really create much. He just sprints from box to box doing hardly anything. Love the other three but with Bolasie just coming back from a really bad injury I'd like to see some explosive players in there, ones that can take a player on and get into the box

After 13 games we were on 12 points just having suffered a 4-1 defeat to Southampton with next to no attacking threat and defensively all over the show

7 games later we’ve more than doubled that to get to 27 points, conceding 2 goals in that time and level on points with 8th.

I get people don’t like sam and we’re hardly setting the world alight, but you really need to apply perspective and context to this debate
