If he adds a football dimension and we finish top 7/8 he probably will. I cant see him playing any decent stuff though. Most will tire of this by May whatever position we get.

..I wonder if Moshiri has been bruised by the transition from Koeman to Allardyce and would welcome a period of stability and slow progress, especially if the stadium development is happening.

Also, there’s a stereotypical view of how Allardyce’s teams play. He said in recent interview that invariably he has come into clubs to keep them up but he’d like to think this job is different. He wants Everton to play with more expanse. I wonder whether Shakespeare in particular and Walsh to a lesser extent might set the playing strategy. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is exactly what Allardyce wants. Time will tell.

I warned you all about Fraudo Silva, didn't think he'd show his true colours this early though.

If we wanted Sean Dyche why didnt we appoint him instead of Sam? He had the same release fee and will be on buttons at Burnley so would have been cheaper.

Why wait 6 months or 18 months, why didnt we get him a month ago?

Thats why I dont think we will go back in for Sean Dyche.

Logical thinking?

...because of the useless refuseniks who couldn't develop.

Tbh, I care less about individuals and more about sound method that's appropriate for this club.

The method under RM was sound. The execution of it in his last 18 months was poor.

His method was not sound or else it would have worked

I can’t see us losing many games by more than 1 goal under Alerdercè because we’ve stopped conceding shots on target.

What? Chelsea had 25 shots yesterday, 8 of them on target.

But our extraordinary run of good fortune continues. Morata picked up a bizarre booking against Bournemouth. As it was his fifth, he missed the game. Pickford made three outstanding saves, Jagielka kicked off the line twice, and Williams headed against the bar.

We can't expect to escape from performances like that with a clean sheet very often.

They're not wrong about that like. My missus used my lads season ticket yesterday (I really wanted to go on my own, honest) because my lad is away skiing, she's actually a Man U fan, she was surprised how quiet the crowd was yesterday considering who we were playing, you could literally hear a pin drop at times.

There was a chant of "Everton, Everton" from the Gwladys Street End after 82 minutes.

Nothing is as worthless in this world as sound "theory" or "method". Because none of us live in a world of theory and methods, we live in a world of reality. Its easy to have a good seeming idea on paper, but those that are actually worth anything show themselves out by results, and not short term results, but results that keep coming even through some ups and downs.

You are right mate. Lady Luck is sat on our shoulder.
It is very unEverton-like.

Nice theory
