Where’s the fume and righteousness in that thoughWhat is it about someone’s personal choice not to go to the game that annoys you all so much?
I’m still going, and i’m Not sure any individual could stop me because going to watch Everton is just what I do, it’s a habit, an obsession almost. I get that not everybody’s the same though, and I know people who’ve stopped because the football was bad, or because they felt the board was a joke or whatever. It’s never bothered me, that’s their choice and they’re welcome to make it.
I haven’t read the whole thread so forgive me if i’m Way off, but I haven’t seen anyone calling for everyone to boycott, or criticising those who don’t, only people telling their own story. Not sure why that prompts such harsh criticism to be honest.
Um, yes mate, I was at the game. Yourself?
Not even when it leads to three goals and a win?Well if you were you cannot deny that we were playing hoof ball. The occasional piece of play on the ground doesn't change that.
I get you want to support the fella, that's absolutely fine with me, but you start to lack credibility if you just completely ignore what happens. That first half especially was dreadful with numerous long balls smacked downfield without a seconds thought.

Long ball, hoof ball, less possession,
I couldn't give a flying one, as long as we win !!

The pens were both the result of slick moves and the build up to Sigurdsson's wonder strike was excellent. There was some occasional "hoofing" up to DCL, but he's proven to be quite capable of holding it up. Nothing wrong with mixing it up a bit in my opinion.
But then we never went long to Lukaku under Martinez and Koeman did we? And never looked average against the bottom clubs? We can only beat the teams that line up against us,but I imagine for you that'll never be good enough. You know you really are starting to sound as though you'll be happy to see us lose.I will give you that but as always if you want to cherry pick try to be subjective. The team he picked were second best to the worst team in the league in the first half and the only plan seems to be to hit it long. Occasionally in the direction of an isolated DCL. Try that on Saturday and the game will be over in 30 minutes.
We scored 2 pens, one of which wasn't a penalty and the first real piece of decent build up all game was for the second goal after the usual change was made on the hour to rectify things (something Koeman also made a habit of). Their heads went after that second and in the end the game and result looked more comfortable than it was.
We have January coming up and the start of tougher fixtures. It'll be interesting to see where we are after those.

We are now being told one wasn't a penalty. The referee disagreed obviously, but our very own MOTD pundit has spoken....so a lucky win...with plenty of hoof ball to thank! The pens were both the result of slick moves and the build up to Sigurdsson's wonder strike was excellent.
