Davy will come good. A little more confidence and quicker play, and he will look a lot better. People complaining about him quickly moving the ball is stunning to me, if anything, all our other players should look to Davy and think «hm, if we all moved the ball forward that quickly, we’d get a hell of a lot more chances at goal». Our snaily pace on the ball in general is the problem, not Klaassens want to speed up our play.

Yeah, I agree. He had a few decent stretches in the first half, but overall he wasn't great. For some reason I find myself really pulling for him to get up to speed, but I'm not sure it will happen here at Everton.

I don't want to be harsh on him, and size isn't eveything, but is it me or does he seem a bit frail? Even compared to some of our actual children that played last night?

But that can't happen over 90mins. End of the day there's time in a game where a player has to put his foot on the ball, hold it for a moment, and pick a pass.

The minute he has to take two touches his game is gone.

I've seen nothing that midfielders at any premier league club couldn't do.He hasn't shown any more than midfielders at clubs like Swansea and Huddersfield. In today's crazy prizes you probably would be paying decent money for even them too.
He came in with a big reputation and I hope somehow he manages to turn it round, I think he and Sandro probably wish it was pre-season again because that's the only chance they will have I think.
