Why are people so determined to create controversy over every single action the club takes ?

The club didn't take this action, Joe did it himself.

And Sam said last week that some old faces would be moving on so it is only natural that inquiring minds look to read between the lines.

Besides....a bit of speculation about matters like this arising helps take the mind off the derby for a while ;)

best off with his feet up and a cup of ovaltine............not sure he contributed much recently. Let him retire and be done with it. Lets not get over emotional over ex evertonians, they don't give a hoot about us.
Good grief you are right miffed aren't you? lol.....BTW about not giving a hoot you just cannot accuse Joe of that...

Seems Unsworth was very happy with him, so he must have been good for something.

A proper Everton legend who actually won things, he should have a set of keys for Goodison.

It was his own decision. It has to be. His role was associated to scouting and helping with the young players. Hardly controversial enough to be forced out

Moshiri said he didn't want us to be a museum. I think this was part of his comment. Giving club legends and ex players jobs for life is not a good thing. As impotent as Kenwright has been as an owner over the years, it wasn't him who has persisted in bottling it at every major chance to achieve silverware. That honour is reserved for the players and staff who have fostered a losers mentality on the pitch.

Sorry but all Bill wanted was to stay in the prem....not win anything ...rotten from the top down...

Not really. He might of been content to stay in the prem, but to suggest he didn't want to win anything is ludicrous. What benefit would he have in us not winning anything? He just didn't have the resources or perhaps the nouse to push us to the next level. However, even when we've been in a position to compete on the pitch, we haven't delivered. Look no further than the derbies. We've been turned over by some of the worst RS squads in memory.

Absolute total nonsense.

His reign as manager ended prematurely because of Peter Johnson.

And now, he is not leaving under a cloud. This is a straightforward case of somebody leaving - it happens from time to time for various, very day-to-day reason.

Perhaps he’s getting on and wants to semi retire? And there’s absolutely no suggestion that it’s anything other than an amicable decision from all parties.

Anyway....
Nice one Groucho...another pretend EFC fan demolished...

Legend is overused where Everton are concerned.
He was an employee
