“Fans” that won’t support us if we get Allardyce

Who's turning their backs on the club? Boycotting going to the game because you disapprove of something or somebody doesn't mean you stop being a fan. Or that you care less about the club. If anything, it's because you care so much that you get so upset to take that stance in the first place.
I don’t see it that way. Whoever is in charge, whoever is playing, I want Everton to do well and I will always watch them when I can even if it’s just on tv. I think the idea of rejecting them because you don’t like someone at the club is a bit fickle. The team and the new manager(whoever that may be) need the fans support now more than they have done in a long time.

I don’t get the moral outrage over allegations in the past weren’t the club themselves subject to allegations by the same means (panaroma) a couple of weeks ago.
Yes, and I think Moshiri should do one as well. Said before, this football club is rotten to the core and appointing a corrupt manager is probably fitting. I'm beginning to think relegation may be a necessary evil for us as it may give us a chance to clean out this Augean stable and begin again.
We just need our Hercules.

I agree with the sentiment mate, sad fact the most corrupt are usually the most successful.

Relegation would ruin us. Bramley Moore won’t happen without premiership status/money.

“Fans” that won’t support us if we get Allardyce

I think such 'fans' would be few and far between. I can however sympathise with those who feel this way.
NOTHING will ever stop me from supporting Everton.
In more than half a century of supporting the club I have experienced just about every emotion possible, ranging from ecstasy to utter despair and everything in between. I honestly thought that there was no emotion left to experience.
This is a new one for me though.
IF Allardyce is appointed, I will for the first time feel ASHAMED to tell people that I'm an Evertonian.
The ONLY consolation is that managers, like players, come and go. In his case the sooner the better.

That is indeed true as I have indeed witnessed many times in my working life.
Doesn't mean we should accept it though. At the very least we can make them hug the shadows a little closer.

My comment after yesterday's game (in The Guardian)

I am ashamed of my club

Ashamed of the G&T quaffing Golf Club Board

Ashamed of players faking injuries and turning Groin strains into Double Hernias

Ashamed of players downing tools

Ashamed of management treating footballers like children

Ashamed of footballers earning a fortune and not putting in half a shift

Ashamed of myself for no longer caring after 47 years of matchgoing support

We deserve relegation

It's pretty obvious where the blame lies - the board, the previous manager (and perhaps Steve Walsh to an extent) and the players.

The board have made a complete balls-up of this manager search and I think a lot of this lies with Kenwright who wanted Unsworth to have a chance - this appears to have lead to a wild-goose chase and a derisory offer to Allardyce.

I am so angry with the club, the players and (previously) Koeman for this mess. I was feeling so numb before Southampton that I could barely raise even half a toss over the performance, the goals conceded, the table.. almost all of it.. but now we seem to have some sort of plan.... I, like all good Blues, just want the mess to be sorted out and go away. If it means some donkey number 9 to put 8 goals in the net post January then so be it.. frankly I'll take 25 games of fairly abject football and 12th place right now... but, let's be fair, we DO HAVE the players to play football, far better than the players Sam usually gets to work with..

So, for heaven's sake, it's Sam or trips to Forest and Ipswich. You choose.

Very noble. But still doesnt give you the right to judge other fans or worse, accuse them of not being fans just because they have a different POV to you.

Lol if he comes in and we start playing with some pride and winning games again no one will give a crap he got filmed giving his ‘mate’ some dodgy advice. He’s a good football manager at the end of the day and he’s nowhere near as dodgy as Redknapp or unlikeable as Pardew.

He's not the messiah.......... he's a very naughty boy!

At the end of the day, if you stop going the match because it has all gone belly up then you're not a proper Blue. You're a fair weather supporter.

If you're comfortable with that then sound, just don't pretend otherwise.
