haha! What on earth is that.

Absolutely no culpability is there. Amazing.
Seems like your agenda has missed out the rest of his quotes, got them for you here mate.

It’s killing me," said the 44-year-old former Everton defender, who urged the board to quickly appoint a permanent manager.

"I take responsibility, but we all have to as well. We're in a tough place and things have to change quickly

Again mate, it's playing to the boorish masses. The social media and print media weapons.

'Hur hur hur Rooney is fat and bad hur hur hur' ... ah wait he's scored 5 in 12 league games. As opposed to Calvert-Lewin who has what, one.

It's more of this bizarre backwards thinking. Calvert-Lewin is tripe, so why not play him in the one competition he has actually managed to do moderately well in? He could have started on Thursday to try and get some goals and confidence in him.

If Rooney can't play midweek and weekend... don't play him in a meaningless European game. And don't for the love of god bring Ashley Williams on before him in a game we are losing.
I disagree with your championing of Rooney, he would not have made a scintilla of difference today, just as didn’t make an iota of difference on Thursday against a team of Italian no marks. It’s the only thing Unsworth has got right.

Agreed.
Lennon was abysmal today, straight back in to a massive game and not even close to making any impact. Of course he wasn't alone in being poor, but it's Unsworth's bizarre selections, then sticking with it in the blind hope things might improve, that is making my hair fall out.
Like you said earlier, Sandro gets a much needed confidence boosting goal in mid week, then is dropped, and never looked like being introduced at any time. Any player who can't get in this team ahead of Dcl might as well retire.

Lennon was not too bad but when he was switched to full back he was over run. Unsworths mistake because an inexperienced full back would need cover, and there wasn't any.

That is literally a rugby backs line up with pickford as the full back. Number 11 on the right wing as Lennon and then inside is 9, 10, 12, 13 up until kenny on the other wing as 14.

Never seen it implemented in football before, let's see how it works out.

lollol

It actually is ffs!
