I make no apology for being “desperate” to see a man whom has been a stalwart Evertonian most of his life succeed in what for him would be a dream job, Orly.
He has served the club with distinction both as a very good centre back and as an excellent mentor for our young players in the Academy.
He was dropped into a maelstrom to sort out the mess Koeman and Walsh have made off our squad.
That it is proving way beyond him is a matter of great sorrow, not a reason to spout bile about the man.
What I cannot understand is the attitude of fellows like yourself whom have had the knives out for Unsie from the getgo.and seem to revel in each succeeding fiasco because it tickles your prejudice and the last thing you can cope with is being proved wrong.
You give off the impression you are happier seeing Everton on the wrong side of this scoreline because the alternative would be to applaud the performance,
