The way the confidence is at the moment, we are miles away from a decent win. A decent draw doesn't look possible the way we are performing.

Ross is a good player but we need more than Ross at the moment, he cant turn this around on his own.

With Deeney out the way we can cope with them at the back.

If we get an early goal I think the confidence levels of these youngsters especially will surge. The crowd will get them over the line.

RB will be crucial these next two months. I think we can have a very lively front four with him in there. He knows how that works. He;s been part and parcel of a mobile front four before. Without Lukaku or his direct replacement it'll obviously be a challenge, but RB at the tip of a diamond and linking up with Vlasic/DCL/Lookman ahead of him could be the punch we need.

It's quite funny to see people still write off some managers as being beneath us!

We are a complete mess, we can't even concede less than 2 goals a game right now. We can't even draw a game, two managers have tried and we are getting worse and worse. Take a step away and compare us to other clubs who have brought in mass players at once, is now argue we have been the worst for it and it's embarrassing. Who spends 140 million in exchange for ONE first team player and comes away so bad that they can't even stop getting beat? The fact is right now we are going down, might only be 10 games in but can you see where the next win is coming from? Can you see where the next goal is coming from? The next half of football that we outplay someone in at least without conceding? Jesus we were the better team second half last night for the first 20 minutes and still concede 3!

So the perspective is we need a manager who isn't going to take us down. Whoever it ends up being, if it's allardyce then so be it. As much as people think it's 'beneath us' to get a manager like that in, the alternative is a very real relegation. We need to sign a goalscorer in January to have any chsnce of staying up, what goal scorer do we get if we are bottom and looking doomed?

surely that is precisely why we need him? not getting beat appeals quite a lot in our current predicament.

All those moaning about big Sams style, do you not remember his Bolton days? consistently over-achieving (a la Moyes) with a limited squad, and playing some nice football with Okocha in the team.

Its a long time since he had Bolton playing decent football. Moyes played decent football at times too. The problem with both is that negative and defensive is their default and favourite tactic. We have had way too much of that crap for the last million seasons.

On top of that he is an arrogant corrupt bell who I'd prefer nowhere near the club.

Get a good competent manager with a proper plan, who can organize us now to get us up above the teams we should be above already and also have a plan going forward. A plan that doesn't involve keeping it tight and hitting the front man as quickly as possible.

Getting him back, with Bolasie, is as crucial as a new manager at the mo.

Rooney and Allardyce at the same club.
We can stay forum friends though, right BH?
