Have a go if you want, but I'd pay Allardyce double what he wants to ensure that we get him.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with playing a pragmatic style of football, Martinez illustratated that 'beautiful' football isn't everything. He knows how to set up a team, and knows how to get the best out of the players given to him.

He's by no means a long-term solution, but when you're in the position we find ourselves in - we simply can't afford blue sky thinking.

" no long term solution " so get in who we want now if there available

I agree with this, we can't score so we can at least protect our clean sheet and not take risks, we might knick a set piece or get a lucky goal.
That's why I want Big Sam in, our team currently isn't good enough for any other way, we need to stop loosing games

We're 6 points mate from the top 10 it's very possible the new manager will have an impact. Big Sam Nick a goal? Have you heard yourself? We're not Bolton effin wanderers.

No to fat Sam NO spells no

Surely if we paid Allardyce what he wants, why would we need to double it?

Actaully looking at our team, were about were we should be.
If a manager gets us mid table by Christmas hell have overachieved

I dont think that its the case that he lacks ambition, but I think you are spot on with your last sentence regarding staying with elstone, etc....dont think he knows much about football and I agree with you on this point.
Well we'll see on that score, I suppose. There's having ambition (re the stadium) and having realistic ambition that can actually come off.

Cobbling together a financial plan with Joe"Pies-R-Us"Anderson isn't exactly reassuring.

Heads falling off everywhere in here - you'd think we were about 10 points from safety the way some are going on.
