Well some think Ancelotti,Tunchel, Blanc ones like that are top manager, I'm not even sure they would have a clue how to sort out what Koeman has left, they want to walk into a team already in Europe with a decent squad so much of the work is already done. That's why I'm all for Unsworth getting a run, he knows the place and knows what Everton is all about. Look at Pep and Mourinho walk straight in to teams that are all very good from word go, so how good are they? I bet they wouldn't be very good at say palace or Swansea. We have a half decent squad with lots of gaps due to not buying the right players, but most know we have a good base to start from that's why the likes of Giggs and Neville want a go here. So really a top manager is when someone can do what Ranieri did, but I'd say over the span of 4/5 years, but somehow he achieved the title in very little time then expectations were to high for him, ultimately he paid for his own success.Don't understand the calls for a top manager. What does that even mean?
