McCarthy and Williams were poor tonight, Mirallas was non existent first half and a few others needed a kick up the caboose too. No one is getting carried away saying we are unbelievable give Unsworth the job now. But it was great to see a real strategy for the first time this season as well as desire from those who were out there. Structure at the back and wingers. We had more shots than Chelsea and took the game to them second half. It’s progress, that’s all we wanted.

Look I've no criticism of players or manager tonight whatsoever. But I'm disappointed and definitely not happy with another trophy chance down the drain. Plucky Ev just get you down over time. We need wins not valiant losses.

We lost to Chelsea's reserve side and people are buzzing cos we created a few chances and threw in a couple of tackles.

We improved yes but the goalscoring problem regarding remains a huge concern going forward. Can't fault anyone for effort and hopefully we get a couple of breaks go our way in the next few games
