I think he fills a very valuable position for us as "the playmaking winger." If we can get some proper play in the middle (whether it comes from Barkley, Siggy or Rooney) and we get a reliable winger on the other side, we could be on to a special midfield here.

I love this kid, he has quite a bit of fight in him, I just hope he can get his fitness up. He always looks winded after about 45 minutes... but he's got a lot of talent about him. I remember looking at his match stats, and he spends a lot of his time fairly high up the field, which is also a positive. I hope Unsworth keeps playing him, I don't want to sell him off or ignore him

We probably were working on the Costa deal right up until the end of the window. It was never gonna happen, like.
