David Unsworth - Temporary Manager

Leicester fans and players probably thought that about Shakespeare ... A few month later he’s gone

Koeman came in. A few months later he's gone. If Unsworth does well even for a while, his lifecycle probably won't look too dissimilar to other managers around the league. Unsworth was always going to be interim and most managers won't be available until the summer, so if he's doing well it's worth seeing how he pans out over a year.

It’s not his job to do they
That’s up to Walsh , isn’t it ??
Or maybe I’m confused
I agree though , we need a high profile manager to attract high profile players.
Although Unsworth may get lucky if he lasts till Jan
By then Seamus , Ross and Barkley may be back from injury and Walsh may deliver the CF and CB we need so that’ll be 5 new first teamers to throw into the mix , although to be honest I think Barkley has told Spurs he’s signing for them because the gangstas want him out of town
Edit
Seamus , Ross and Bolassie

Agreed.
I guess the worry is, in the state we are, the question of what constitutes success this season?
Top 10?
Back to our usual 7th spot?
And then, potentially, you are trusting the big man with a shed load of money.
I love the idea of Rhino doing well but I can't deny at present I am uncomfortable with a few things.

If he wins games and we play well doing it, I can't see why not. I think.

I'm not sure.

There’s good managers available now Tuchel for starters. And there’s 29 games left and lots to play for. IMO you need a proper manager not some U23 rookie manager ... There’s clearly a lot of sentiment towards Unsworth on here ex player and that but really a first team manager ?? You should be aiming higher NOW not the summer or a years time God knows what damage might’ve been done by then

It will be interesting to see who, if he makes it until then, comes in the January window if he is still in charge. He's never really had to focus on any of that part of the business. And I know Walsh supposedly is "the man" but you know Unsworth would want a particular type of player.

I'd love Tierney as Baines is just done imo.

I know one of the Everton scouts. I spoke to him, he is all for Unsy as is the other staff. There is an overwhelming support for him to take over.
What's the reason for this? Interested to know. Is it just because he's a nice fella who gets on with everyone? or is it because the players buy into his way of playing?
